Spring is on its way! Ginger has two new lambs and we are already sowing seeds in the greenhouses for the 2014 bounty. Tired of your winter fare?  In three months we will have tasty salad mixes, pac choi, kale, Swiss chard, and fresh herbs! Now is the time to sign up for your summer CSA!

Last season the large CSA totaled 300 lbs, for an average price of only $1.66 per pound!  The small CSA weighed in at 200 lbs, costing $1.77 per pound.  Prices will be the same this year: $500 for a large share or $355 for a small. If you participated in the 2013 CSA you can receive 10% off this year’s CSA by referring a friend to us.

We will be trying a few new varieties of produce this summer; Nero di Tuscana kale, Black Summer pac choi, Veronica cauliflower.  We will also be growing a bright purple cauliflower that we trialed last summer-Graffiti!  As usual we will strive to give CSA members an abundance of the 40-plus varieties of vegetables we grow.
